Order Raw Files (CJP Clients Only) Every Photo Taken - Invite Only
Chris Jack Photography now offers the raw digital negatives (raw photos) of every single photo taken on the day for a once-off investment of $750.00 incl. GST to selected clients only ‘by invite only’ (clients prior to 2022).
When I first decided to offer this service, I discovered that only about 50% of the backup drives are still working (which is to be expected with digital degradation of data). If you are being offered the raw files it’s because a scan of your backup drive has indicated the raw files are still intact and the external hard drive they are contained on is free of errors.
That means you can take the raw files from your gallery and reimagine the photos yourself (or using AI) without the loss in image quality that would occur if you edited the JPEG versions.
You may even find photos that were not included in your original gallery due to being out of focus, duplicates of other photos etc. that you prefer.
You won’t just get access to the raw files (digital negatives) of the photos in your gallery, but every single photo captured on the day without exception, from the moment I arrive until I left.

If your wedding was edited from DNG files (which was common prior to 2022) you may also receive the existing edits witihn the DNG file. So photos that were in your final gallery will appear edited, and photos that were not selected will just be the original raw file (which you can edit).
With the raw files and the correct software (Adobe Lightroom, Capture One etc.) you can change the white balance (make photos colder or warmer), increase the exposure, change colours etc without any noticeable loss in quality, either now or anytime in the future.
This purchase also includes a license to alter and edit the raw files in perpetuity (forever) for any purpose for personal use, with no attribution of the photographer required (or permitted).
You can reedit all your photos as you please, do whatever you want with the photos providing you do not attribute (mention Chris Jack Photography) in relation to the usage of any images publicly (for example crediting the photographer). That’s to protect my reputation if you change the photos (which you can do with the digital negatives).
Please note: In some cases individual raw files might be corrupted. If this is discovered, a pro-rate refund will be raised if reported within 14 days of receiving the files. In most cases, all files will be intact and usable.
