Associate Photographers

To be invited as a CJP Associate photographer requires that person to be a dedicated, full-time wedding photographer, with established portfolio and stringent gear and workflow checks to ensure consistent outcomes.

This includes the Associate photographer owning an array of professional grade Canon RF L lenses, at least two camera bodies (R6 or better) two speedlights, MagMod lighting modifiers and a backup and photo management workflow.

All CJP Associate photographers have worked in-person with Chris on various wedding and event assignments as second shooters, and have been proven time and time again to be reliable and fastidious about keeping to the brief.

If you book a CJP Associate photographer, you will benefit from dealing with Chris directly to discuss your brief, runsheet and timeline in detail before the event either by phone or video chat, including a comprehensive pre-wedding consultation.

Chris then creates an entire photography timeline which is discussed with the Associate photographer, to ensure everyone is on the same page.

The Associate Photographers shoot the assignment and then upload raw files overnight via Dropbox.

Photos are then backed up at the CJP studio to multiple locations, and highlight photos, uploaded and delivered to you in the morning.

Manuel Brandao

MANUEL BRANDAO

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1997, Manuel embarked on his creative journey while traveling the world. His fascination with capturing timeless moments and transforming them into visual stories began with a GoPro in 2012.

As he pursued a degree in business management, his professional photography career really took off in 2016, specializing in surf photography in Portugal.

The year 2018 marked a significant milestone in Manuel’s professional career, as he ventured into wedding photography, capturing the magic of over 200 weddings in Portugal since this time.

Manuel is now living in Brisbane, and is working as a full-time wedding and events photographer.

Manuel is available to be booked as an Associate Corporate Event Photographer and Lead Wedding Photographer, as well as Second Wedding Photographer through CJP.


Jessica Isabelle

JESSICA ISABELLE

Jessica worked as a premium cabin flight attendant for Qantas and Virgin for over 14 years, before starting her professional photography career (full-time) in 2021.

Since then she has amassed an impressive portfolio of events, weddings and family photography.

Jessica is super friendly and approachable, but also meticulous in her work, preparations and planning.

Whether it’s a corporate event awards dinner or a full-on, full day wedding, Jessica is available for Associate Corporate Event Photography assignments, Lead Wedding Photographer and Second Wedding Photographer bookings via CJP.

ASSOCIATES FAQ

  • Associate shooters are other full-time professional wedding photographers that can be booked through CJP. Chris has worked closely with all Associate photographers to ensure they uphold the same professional standards, quality and consistency that you would get booking Chris Jack directly.

  • You absolutely could, however you may actually find it is less costly to book Associates through CJP, and you also receive the benefits of easier and more flexible payment and photography usage terms, automatic backup photographers in case of sickness, and the actual editing of photos by Chris Jack with over 6 years experience, in his renowned style.

    Chris also conducts all photography briefings, and is your central point of contact.

    Finally, Associates are able to access more gear (including backup equipment) via CJP for specific assignments.

  • Depending on your date and availability you may be able to. Upon enquiring for your date, Chris will provide options that include booking Chris directly if available, in addition to Associate Photographers.

    Booking an Associate photographer will be less costly in most cases (by about 10%).

  • All CJP Associates can be booked for corporate event photography, private (party) photography, wedding lead shooting (main photographer) and wedding second shooting (working alongside Chris Jack).
